    Some progress in the garage

God evening! A few things happend since i last updated.

Worked on the job and then on the car to late night a few days this week. I have mounted my Maxxecu ecu and done the wiring. Mounted the egt sensors. Also mounted the turbo/wg for "the last time" with all hoses.

Mounted the ecu in the original "box"

Mounted in the car, just have to put the egt cables in the ecu.

Some wiring, to wide band lambda and boost solenoid valve.

The new injectors from finjector, 1000cc Bosch EV14

Mounted the egt sensors half way in the runners

Turbo, wg, downpipe and injectors mounted.

    Looks pretty nice i think..

Since my new injectors runs with 3bar pressure i ordered a new 3 bar fpr. Unnecessary to run a higher groundpressure than i need since im planning to run a single 044 pump. Still waiting on my radiator. Vidar should send it to me next week he said and then i can start order/build my ic piping

Thanks! The turbo is spec to 620hp. But I have stock inlet and stock head/camshafts. Im hoping to get between 500-550hp.

i also have a 044 bosch pump and a fuel pressure regulator with 4 bar on the fuel rail now
my injectors are controlled up to 80% at full load with vems so i have a little spare for more horsepower
but with my setup the power goes down on 6500 rpm

You should be able to reach close to 600hp. Don't know about the stock cams, but 7A cams are a good update. I also run stock head.

                      Finally!

So today i picked up my custom radiator that Vidar made for me.

Thinner core, 25mm think 32mm is original.

I will put it as close to the fan as i possible can to spare room for the IC.
Will have the radiator mounted this weekend and start building the IC piping next week. Just need to measure clearence after i have mounted the radiator, then i can order the IC.

I know it's not right position, just wanted to see how it will look.
Yesterday i also started up the Maxxecu. Wery nice functions and user friendly. Everything seemed to work. Didn't try to start, just wanted to check sensors, ignition, injectors etc.
                      Work continues on Saturday..

                        Radiator mounted

Hello! Got the new radiator mounted yesterday, now there is more room for the FMIC im planning to mount this week. I've bought the radiator with a 25mm core and i have also moved it backwards as much as i dare.

Measure at left side of radiator to bumper.

Measure at center of radiator to bumper.

                        Almost to much room now

And the looks of it now

So work continues, today i was in the garage and took some measures for my IC.
Decided to go for a 450x300x76 IC with 2,5" pipes. This according to my measures will clear the bumper without me having to cut it to pieces.. As i want to keep a clean look. Tomorrow i will order my pipes, will build the ic-system of SS food piping 2,5". Next week i'm planning to take a week off work so i really can put in some hours on the car and make some "real" progress

I like that solution. I hope the radiator will be able to keep the car cool

                            Yeah

I like my idea to.. I don't think the size of the core will make to much difference, hopfully

How were you able to get the A/C compressor idler off? I have 2 brackets here and none of them have those 3 bolts holding the idler to the bracket?
                              Heat + new bearing?
