    Heat + new bearing?

Hi! Don't really know what you mean, in this picture the A/C compressor isn't mounted. The thing bolted to "A/C bracket" is the bearing house to the visco fan.

No, it's a Audi color called L7ZJ "Felgenkappengrau" with matt clearcoat.

There are two styles of idler bracket bearing assemblies. OPs picture is of an early one. My spare '92 S4 engine has this earlier one. The latter bracket bearings are a press fit & you had better use plenty of red Locktite & drill it for a set screw to hold the new one in place. BTDT. There is a grove midway on the bearing. My first attempt missed the grove & the bearing assembly subsequently moved outwards after a few miles of driving. Dave can you fill us in on the proper P/Ns & change over dates please?
Picture below is on my MY 1995.5 S6 with a build date of 09/95.

                  vacation

So i took a week off work so i can work on the car..

Started yesterday to mount the IC on the car. Made me some brackets from SS and mounted the IC.

Today i welded the pieces together and moved the Cooling for the powersteering.

It's a tight fit behind the bumper but i got it in place without cutting a thing on the bumper so that i'm happy with.

Started working on the IC piping, SS-foodpipes, really nice pieces.

First pipe finished, just need to weld everything up.

Tomorrow i will continue with the other side which will contain a Tial Q10 blow off valve.

                        Today's progress

Today i finished all the IC piping. Man it takes some time.. But now it's done. Really happy with how it turned out.

Piping between IM and IC with a tial flange welded to it.

                        Piping between Turbo and IC

Pipes fitted, but i realised i didn't bought enough hose clamps.. Well think it looks pretty nice.

Tial Q10 Blow off valve fitted.

Well that was all i had for today. Tomorrow i will find a new place for my oil-cooler and continue with my "to do list". Hope you enjoy the updates
