The car is stilll manky from our Decmeber thrash when I blew the spark plug out the head.
I have hundreds of bolts left over - partly due to the air con getting ripped out and partly due to finding a lot when I dismantled it!
It is a current picture Dean - I think I will go with the half vr6 spot light, half vent.
It sounds **** when that small bolt disappears from the downpipe - I heard something ping off a lampost - I bet I could go back and find it!S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment

I have ran the car in - 850 miles now - another 100 or so by the time I pick Mihnea up today.
I did 730 miles from Dunfermline down the M6, M1, and turnaround past the Watford Gap and drove home up the M1, A1. All done on 2 tanks of petrol 110 litres - so 31 mpg! Lag is good - no turbo spinning when cruising! 12 hours of driving though!
3 oil changes and it seems to be running well.
I can hear my WGFV clicking away at funny times and I get the chatter on gear changes - I've missed that!
Now it's up to Mihnea.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment

Just the hesitation to fix (I think a coil pack is not working properly - I bet it is no3 coilpack - the one that the spark plug blew out), and get the boost upped to over 2 bar and it will be finished for now. It is peaking at 1.85Bar, settling at 1.65 Bar and not dropping very much at redline.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment
