VRS are very good at keeping you updated.

Looking forward to the completed car is due course.

Don't advocate abusing it, especially right away, but would be cool to see what the bhp and torque figures are, and how it does on the 1/4 mile.

Yes, Will's great at keeping me posted, I'm so pleased I went with VRS! I know I keep saying that but hey...

They're going to run the engine in using Millers running in mineral oil on the dyno and then I imagine they'll get various power figures at various boost levels using pump gas and race fuel whilst fiddling with the MoTeC. I asked for an engine with lots of power and lots of torque, he said he could give me 700hp+ but I'd lose low down grunt and so I want a happy compromise - the best of both worlds, so I should likely be looking at around 500hp.

That's a very hospitable offer but I'm not sure when or if I'll be in 'Western Sahara' anytime soon! Where is that anyway? Morocco?

Will's been mean with picture updates lately, when I quizzed him about it he just said that he'd be sending me a whole load soon, but over the last couple of weeks this is all I've had:

No cardcrash, I dont have a thread but heres a sneaky pic for now its nearing completion. Just waiting for my downpipe to come back from Zircotec then it will fired up and run in before power mapping. Like yourself im also running kwv3, wavetrac, hispec brakes etc. But the beauty of it is it will look like a mint OEM UR from the outside. Its a project of patience but will be worth it im sure. Jsws3 has an almost identical car to mine.
