Nope, not had any updates since the end of last month. I'm sure the next ones will be quite exciting!

Bet your very excited. Mine has taken over a year to get sorted (think id have struggled to wait this long for a Zonda LOL) but thankfully its all sorted now and will be fired up in the next couple of days. Am glad the weather is so mild as I will be driving it to work just to put as many miles on as possible before power mapping in new year.

Haha...nooo, Error404 is right. He knows....
Ill definatley upload some pics and do mini thread next week as im going to pop up to the workshop, I have no pics atm. Car just needs the sparky to finish off the last of the wiring, then the car needs to be detailed and paint shielded. Jsws3 has a 99 % identical project car to mine and already has a big thread on his....check out "jsws3 money pit" . Its a good read. Only difference is mine sits on BBS RS and his on Ronals and a few tiny minor differences in thermal wraps/coatings, suspention and brakes but we have the same running gear, ecu and main stuff.

Well, I just messaged Will that I had to SORN the RS2 and got these pics in return. As far as I can tell the engine and gearbox are in and the brake lines seem fitted too. I didn't get much in the way of words, only ones to tell me he's had only 4 days off work and these pictures...

Looking good I see you have the V3 coilovers, are you getting the car cornerweighted and setup by a specialist?
Do you already have a base line motec file to upload to the car for its first fire up? Or is it something you will have to do live at the time?

Dunno about the suspension setup, I'll address that with Will when the time comes.

As for the MoTeC I think Dave from EPS is going to be setting the car up for me so couldn't be in better hands.

Well I messaged Will yesterday and said "3 weeks and not a squeak. Everything ok?"

Had a reply saying he sent me a message but I didn't reply so thought I was on holiday.
Turns out my phone's fooked and I'm not getting messages off anyone and mine aren't going out either. Good job for WhatsApp! He sent me a copy of the message he sent me, it was dated 7th of Jan! It said "Can I have £960 please, parts & labour"

I said "Sorry I'm still not getting your messages..." Just kidding, I paid up and he sent me this to try and make me feel better:



...and said it was having the exhaust and intercooler pipes doing at the moment.

Then this morning I get this:


"What's going on here?" I asked
"Secret" he says...

Then he brings my attention to the fact it's a bit low and needs raising and to look how big the brakes are. So I took a second look and thought "Hmm, yes should stop nicely now then"
They do look nice and big! I tried to find some pictures of the brakes before and found these:

Getting back to the 'secret' I'm scratching my head as to what it could be Perhaps he's taking it away to have the exhaust offered up for fitting, as although it's to Will's design and specs he's having it fabricated off-site. That is of course assuming the car is going on the ramp, maybe it's coming off, but the chock at the back would suggest... you know what, I don't know! It's doing my head in thinking about it

Hopefully my next update will answer some questions...

Until then I will have to resort to taking my frustrations out by beating my dog for giving me 'evils'...
