I worked at a Citroen garage back in the day, it was definitely a rubber sealing ring used on their "spheres". I would think if it doesn't have a groove to locate a seal then a washer of some sort would be a better idea?

Thank you Lago. That is just what I needed. My search of the forum had failed to find your second post. Anyway, small confession, I do have o rings. They are concealed in the fitting on the hose end. When I removed the bomb, it wasn't in good light and I wrapped the hose end fitting in a clean cloth to stop any dirt getting in there. I just went for another look, and there they are!
So, I need two of these new o ring seals. A quick search online and they are available in Latvia. I can get silicone o rings of the correct size in the UK. Will they be ok? I will ring TPS tomorrow but I'm not holding out much hope. Anyone have a couple of new ones knocking about?
And, following the guide Lago posted, cleaned out my fluid reservoir. Yuk, lots of black stuff in the filter And I put new fluid in when I did my 're build. I suspect the diaphragm on the bomb is breaking down

The diaphragm has to be split to leak the nitrogen back into the system.

Yes, I'm thinking the same. The garage I have sent it to say they test it first before they try and 're gas it. If the diaphragm is broken, it can't be repaired. Some of the Citroen ones can be taken apart and a new diaphragm inserted but apparently not these.

I've ordered two and 2 litres of G00
Whilst waiting I've drained all the old oil and cleaned up the reservoir.

Nothing broken as such. Apparently the nitrogen gas slowly discharges over time. I should be good for another 7 years now.

My refurbished bomb turned up today and I must say I’m very impressed. They had totally refurbished it with new paint! Looks like a new one.
All fitted no issues with two new seals on the banjo bolt. The screen on the banjo was quite grubby and that was cleaned out. New fluid and bled everything and it's all working perfectly.
