Look on the positive side, you've managed to get them to fit and had fun doing it, not often people will take a leap of faith and try something new.

The bad thing is that they were meant for the chav population, not the tr00 audi fans. Make them all black, put a big lens for the low beam, put a normal lens for the high beam, a small sidelight, and it would be done. That led bar and the angel eyes are a finger in the eye, and that gray part that is just awful.Audi Quattro WRComment

O my god! They have gone even more trendy now on Ebay

Thanks for that Bram
Now I have to clear up the mess I just made when my breakfast came hurtling back out unexpectedly....Those things are just awful!
Can anyone on here (except Jamo) honestly say they could do that to an S2? Come on guys, an S2 is a sleeper. A subtle piece of German engineering. It is not a Clio 1.2 or a Jap ricer.....Those things are for Chavs, JUST WALK AWAY!

P.S. BIG Kudos to Jas for the engineering work
But even BIGGER Kudos for getting rid of them

Morning Jamo, thought I would get you going with that one :mischeif:
I've been waiting for ages too......so lets start with: -
In case you didn't know but were too afraid to ask, OEM means 'Original Equipment Manufacturer'. That means a multitude of different things in different industries, but at it's most simplistic or as most recognised street term it means that if it was designed and manufactured by Audi, or by a recognised supplier (such as Bosch with their Motronix ECU) and used by Audi at the factory then it is considered to be correct for the car...or 'OEM' for short.
For examply, my seats are made by Recaro, but bought and fitted by Audi to some B4 models, such as the RS2 that you referred to, but also the late model S2 (such as Sonic's fine example) so you might call the retro fitting of these seats in my car 'an OEM upgrade' or simply 'OEM'.
Another example might be Fatty's wheels. These were never sold to Audi for factory fitment on any B4 model and might therefore be considered 'aftermarket'
See, even you can learn something new on here every day.
Cheers n

Ah knew you could not resist, who set the trap? :mischeif:
I took money from you for the RS2 parts, so in my book do what you want with them as I got the dollar bills

SO the only aftermarket market mod on your car is the mud?

Each to their own and all that, I didn't "hate" them, the light output is miles ahead of standard ellipsoids (standard meaning non HID converted)
Reason I sold them on, which to be honest I kinda knew I would, I just liked the challenge, was that I originally intended the project TDi to be a visual replica of the S2 saloon. These lights dramatically changed that.
I'd be happy to do that for you. Once you've done one set, anything after is a piece of cake.

Yup
, well no actually there's grime, dust, dirt, grass cuttings, hedge trimmings, wood chippings and an as of yet unclassified new life form/green slime (I think it used to be a fruit pastel)
But not hammers under the front seat

P.S. Oh and the VDO boost gauge - now that is tricky as VDO are OEM, but not with the boost gauge95 ABY S2 Coupe - Ragusa Green

Brembo are a VAG supplier and I have simply chosen to fit a better model than the original RS2 version, due to a known inherent weakness
Seat carriers are also part of the VAG group and are simply a cost effective version of the RS2 carrier
HIDS......Nope, no smart answer to that one I'm afraid, except that if Fatty is OEM with those blatant wheels, a set of HIDden lights can't be too bad
