I recently ordered a set and requested for the V1 lcd which should have come with the thin strips, got mine on the post last week and having opened it and checked the strips they are the bigger type strips 2

What needed doing to the cluster, was it just LCD repair or dials too

I saw cluster repairs on an old wheeler dealers repairing an old TT unit, useful to know they can sort our units out.

I ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago and it arrived xmas eve.

Is there a guide/link/stickie on how to replace these please?

Do you need to remove the steering wheel to get the speedo cluster out?

Gonna do it myself while I got some time off work.

Steering wheel can stay on. I took off the top of the cowling and then there are two screws at the bottom of the speedo. It just jiggles forward on an arc from the bottom and comes up out to let you reach in behind to disconnect the wires. After that it’s just dismantle and put back together. Any problems I have a spare dash I can send you pictures of. Enjoy your BoxingDay!
