All done. Had a problem undoing the wiring behind the speedo cluster, theres 5 sets of wiring in behind.

So good to see how bad the mpg is again, its been years since that display went.

Fiddly job but been niggling me for ages.

As usual the help from members of the forum has proved invaluable. Thanks

Nice work mate, well done, looks really good.

Maybe you’re missing a bulb on your speedo though, the 20-30 mph are looks dark?

I’ve had these clusters out so many times over the years I’ve developed a method.
With the cluster tipped towards the steering wheel, I use a long thin screwdriver to reach in from the left and lever up the coloured clips on the multipin connectors, once these clips are released the plugs come out easily, working along one by one and leaving the small black one that you need to squeeze till last.
