Hey thank you this is great advice, but atm I cannot source a crank pulley -- or a crank bolt from anywhere, or that washer. Am I literally out of options here? :/

Audi Tradition do the bolt, Ebayde the washer and terrybullone (here) the pulley.

(I can't find the bolt on AT at the moment. Eyes getting fuzzy. If they haven't got it anymore, I have a Febi one that I bought before I got one from AT

Huge thanks again. Audi tradition havent got back to me and im trying to get all parts before the weekend to do the job.. thx for help..

I've managed to see a post on another forum for a crank bolt replacement / vag and bmw parts, but I dunno how good this is. I will try and wait for audi tradition.. but been 2 days and I can only email them..

          Crank bolt (orig part No: 034 105 229 A):
          https://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/344140.phtml
          VAG N90498002
          (part threaded)
or VAG N0101432 (Febi 17230) (part threaded)
          https://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/344214.phtml
          or BMW 11231736585 (part threaded)
          https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/BM-11231736585
(These parts have no thread on the small section nearest the bolt head, the rest is threaded till the end of the bolt - all bolt heads are the same for all shown)

or The 110mm long Febi (VAG N90498002, Volvo 9186595) is fully threaded

I googled the part number of the crank pulley, you are right terry does them, but i cant get it till next week.

          Crank pulley source discovered:

          https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/034105263a

Is Terry's Crank Pulley stronger than OEM? If so - I may wait for this..

I always re-use the bolt if it's not damaged and the threads are clean. It's not a requirement to replace it

Indeed, it's not a service item, I've never changed mine.

Ok so whats the deal with the diamond washer...? Never seen this before, is is treated in a particular way during production or something equally as funky or is it just dimensions...? If these are NLA, maybe we can get some made and hold a stock on the forum?
