      This has happened before to some forum member and the 20nm for the m6 bolt is way too much for it. When I did mine I used my wrist-o-meter torque wrench to prevent the bolts from snapping and it had been fine ever since.

        Yep, you don't need a torque wrench for everything.

          OEM is 12.9. Torque on this should be 15nm.

            Thank you everyone! yes my wristometer was saying no!! too high!! but i was following torque setting.. have ordered OEM from Audi - will pickup in the week. I think I should do a progress update on my car as a thread. Have lots of photos and hard work going into her.

                Hey 4wdrifter!! Its been awhile matey, you good?

                Its just marked, but it scores into the rail a little, but doesnt break into the system, which has me thinking of putting jb weld onto it and observe for a year or 2 then upgrade, when I go for more power x
