Interesting, you havent got a rag stuffed in one of the pipes or the turbo have you? Often done, someone uses a rag in to stop dirt getting in and forgets to tell anyone about it.
i thought they had all been checked and double checked.
they have been checked umpteen times! The hose was fine before, it is only since yesterday i noticed when you rev it hard you can see the hose collapse. I wonder if this was happening before when driving under load?
You would never see it, and ive done a pressure test and was fine. Maybe just another problem in itself.
ok so i took hose off to see whats what and i started the engine and for the first time it idled by itself...sweet as a nut! after it cut out a couple of times from revvin it i managed to hold the revvs quite high and i put my hand over the crossmember outlet for the accordian hose, and air wasnt gushin out it was like a gentle breeze.
I know you wont get the full effect until the car is under load but surely it should of pumped out quite a bit?
I had intercooler off 2 weeks ago and all seemed fine, mark h mod all tiht etc. Could the intercooler or cross member pipe be blocked?
