Just a quick question... on our S2/RS2 fuel rails, is this EV14-ad from ebay all that you'd need to correctly put in EV14's? Or are the thicker bottom o-rings from an AAN better, and do you still need to make grooves in the adapters?

    thanks

edit: it already states that the set is for Audi AAN, so the rings probably are already ok?

You don't make grooves in the adapters the adapters have a ridge which the clip can fit on, so you would buy that set on ebay and then the adapters from FIS ontop

        adapters from FIS?

        so this isn't true then?

"NOTE: This set come with wireless USCAR electrical connector adapters to fit the newer design injectors--and a set of 12.5mm length extenders with 14mm o-rings. Nothing else to buy!"

No problem! Are you going to use them with the filters?

Ditto... I ordered a set with filters, turned up today, they are the nuts... clips fit perfectly, these injectors aren't going anywhere. Just gotta spray the clips black to match now for the ultimate stealth injector upgrade

Talk about service... I mailed about getting two sets about a hour after ordering, figured I was too late as I got a shipping confirmation mail about 10 mins later However, 10 turned up - I haven't even paid yet, best get my card out as they deserve it

Top quality service and they are the only adapters i've seen with top and bottom clip facility

Are they Ford Racing ones same as 034 supply? Must admit those are good quality, clip in nice and firm.

The 034 spacers do have the ability to take the injector clip, they are just about 1mm too long to clip it to the fuel rail, and about 2mm out on the clip to the injector. If you bent the clip it might fit but I wanted anodised black and no-fuss fitment. Why settle for less

I've got a few pics of the differences here between Finjector and 034 spacers:

As you can see, the 034 spacer is slightly shorter on it's own; note that both have grooves for the stock clip on both the top and bottom:

However, because the thin section is longer on the 034 spacer, once fitted to the injector it actually sits about 1mm longer; also note how the grooves line up differently:

This would be a concern as there is already tiny bit of slack with the 034 spacer - this can be dealt with by fitting a nylon washer to the bottom of the injector so it sits tight, or oval out the holes on the fuel rail to sit it 1-2mm lower. However... with better alignment of the grooves, the clips fit perfectly so this injector is going nowhere:

I've painted the clips black for a stealthier install, will get a final pic when these are fiftted

                              Another 034 fail then

When buying EV14's, what should I order from Finjector to have the correct and safest package for installing them?

                                Spacer -> to be used?

And which of all those adapters is the correct one for our S2/RS2's? 11 or 14mm?
Tried searching for the size, but couldn't find anything, hence all my questions

                                Thanks!
