Finally got my loom made with the new coil packs. Car is absolutely flying with no misfire
Just to help anyone else looking for the parts to do this job
I ended up replacing the 2 white connectors with these:
http://3waycomponents.co.uk/Automoti...-Kit-With-Boot
as i couldn't source the terminal pins audi used in the white connectors.
For the brown and black connectors i used these terminal:
TE Connectivity Junior Power Timer Crimp Terminal, Female, 1mm² to 2.5mm², Tin Plating
Stock no.: 718-1317
Got these from RS components online these fit the original connectors.
Then you also need some heat resistant sleeving for the wires. I used Vidaflex SD350 purchased on ebay. Think 6mm is what i used mostly but if you wanted it to look like a real pro job then you'd need varying sizes.
Anyway an easy enough job but time consuming...requires a lot of patience. Worth the effort and expense
