Austin: If you scroll down in the original ebay.de post, you will find links to two pdfs regarding the installation and wiring for that "kit". One or both of them documents the pins that need to be moved in the 3B harness T55 female connector to match up with the AAN (or ABY/ADU) ECU T55 male connector. (It isn't as plug and play as it first looks).

Be careful, the pdf documents from the seller has mistakes, the way to do it is following Paul's nugent pdf. It is explained in the pin swap thread ,it is sticked in the engine/turbo section.

Yeah I already did that the instructions seem vague to say the least.

                    Hi all!

Im almost completing my conversion from 3B to AAN, including AAN Ecu, AAN engine harness, AAN coilpacks.......

My question is, do I have to change the 3B valve cover to AAN-ABY-RS2 or can I use 7a one??OIf course, with stock AAN coils

If I can help with something.....

Someone will correct me (if I am wrong) but if you are running a 3B style intake manifold with the throttle body at flywheel end of the engine AND OE AAN coils, you will need an ABY or ADU cam cover. If you are running the AAN intake (with the throttle body near the front of the engine), AND OE AAN coils, then you will need an AAN cam cover (but an ABY or ADU one probably works too).

I would use an AAN/ABY cam cover if you are going to use OEM coils.
I can't say that you can't make it work with a 3B as I have not tried , but
I have to say even if you could make it work with the 3B it would be better with
                          the AAN/ABY cover.

Getting hold of the ABY Motronic and harness from e-Bay looks simple, what about the pin swap and wiring?

                            Cheers
You don't need the aby harness just the ecu. But I would get the aan ecu since they normally sell for less.

You need a tool so you can undo the pins in the ecu plug. I think you can do it in a day maybe that is with mounting and wiring of new coils, pin swap, adding the 5 trigger wires for the coils. Also need some time for beer.

You just need some labels, then it can't go wrong. Even with a couple of beers
