İ dont care whether it is rs2 or not. My aim is to make this car. That is why i need your help. İ have been struggling to fix this car for years. And in turkey it is not easy to find proper parts of rs2 motor. That is why i changed motor. What i need is only help.
İ thank to the friends that want to help me and want to see the map. İ will send the records of the map as soon as i got them. My mapper is out of town.
Vems explaind this situation as:
Flywheel dowel pin being pushed too far into the flywheel (one sensor reads this pin)
Aftermarket (Non Audi) Flywheel with wrong size pin or location
Old sensor for flywheel teeth or flywheel pin
Damage to wiring on sensor cable or car harness
And is the problem 3b?today 3b in future adu or any I5 20v turbo engine its not problem for me and thats my rs2Leave a comment:

OK, you've asked for this, next person that post's on this thread, not about Fatiii's problem, gets it

Let it go already! The fact this car has a 3b motor has nothing to do with the 3b you are thinking of. It has coils which actually are better than the adu ones and has vems. So its not a distributor run engine. No worse than aby/adu then.when a new member who is in the market for s2 and asked the question, what is best aby or 3b.what does the mejority say, forget aby and by yourself a 3b motor? no.
almost everyone tells them to forget 3b and buy themself a aby
i can't believe,today people actually sticking up for 3b.

But i am not in the market. And this in not in the sale section of forum. So people from the market buy what they want. Why?Not my problem.
Nothing personal with anyone.I just love any i5 engine, and not only.Leave a comment:

if your in the market for Rs2 what would you buy.one with 3b or Adu engine?
at the end of the day,the truth hurt and people don't like to admit it.Leave a comment:

Where is the downgrade? You can be the man thet needs an i5 block(tdi or petrol)a head(10v or 20v) and this is the start for a great power engine.Or you can be the man that wants to buy ADU engine, because it is rs2.
I do not remember this forum beying "historical original car"
One more thing and i am done:
If most of us play the virgins and love originality....why the xuck will you buy an audi with porsche brakes and wheels?Because audi does not know to make brakes???They do.Why are'nt you a porsche owner???????Why not put mercedes brakes and say that audi makes good cars???
So you buy one because you like it.If you buy one because it is ADU RS2 you have a personality problem.
Done!!Leave a comment:

Can the mods clean this thread up?
Fatiii's got a problem with his car, it's not a bitching thread for 6yr old girls.

IMO make it look like an rs2. Get all the parts and keep it decent and I don't even care if the chassis has the magic letter. O have been seeing so many original ones rotting which is much worse for me.
Mine ISN'T an original and I don't care. Scares off all originals anyway

What do you consider downgrade?
3B block and head are so close to ADU mechanically that I would not worry about it if that is the only option I had. I would certainly take offence at someone telling me I don't have an RS2 anymore.
IMHO the chassis/VIN determines the car, not the engine.
In Canada that is all MTO looks at and lists in the ownership, you should know that

We get it. You have a very specific guideline for when it comes to these issues of labelling motors. You are missing the point but I admire your guidelines.Leave a comment:
