rs2 engine problem!(help)

Yup..Rs2 chasis with adu engine,custom exhaust,custom intake,custom turbo,injectors,pistons,rods,cam cover,ecu etc etc upgrades is rs2 and you get in your knees in front if it and say"great job".And this one is not anymore???????The only difference between upgraded 3b and adu engines remains what?cam sensor?that could be solved.

Charge the battery, that won't help if its low and slow turning over.

I guess you have already checked if there is any boost leaks? I know there is no MAF on Vems but it seems to have the same symptoms.

And my 2p about if its an rs2 or not!
It is an RS2! With an upgraded inlet, upgraded turbo etc. who cares if the block code is RR,3B,AAN,ABY,ADU
Johnny has an original ADU engine in his 3B coupe does that make it an RS2 coupe???

the solution is-remove this engine,find ADU one,fit it in and it will be all good.

i'm sure the old one can be made good and then put back in.

So what if it's got a 3b in it, at least its kind of running now which it always refused to do for a few years.

he could atleast have put an ABY engine which is the closes thing to an rs2 engine.
an rs2 must have ADU engine to wear the badge,otherwise it become an 80 avant with porsche parts slapped all over it.
not an rs2 any more IMO.

yes i also do that everytime i have a problem as well.


fatii: send the config to someone. The first thing i would check is the fueling map as it may be that there is not enough fuel when the throttle is pressed and therefore it stalls.

then i could start thinking other things. When vems was fitted, did anyone check the timing marks with a strobe light? Have you changed the VR sensor cable as should be done? Have lamda and IAT sensor and TPS sensor been calibrated? etc etc etc

Can anyone tell me what difference does it make idyl its an rs2 or not? Its a 5cyl with a problem. The owner is referring to an rs2 as the outside looks are as an rs2. Mine was never an rs2 but if people see it they think it is. Lets just focus on the issue rather than keep on be surface

why in the world would you swap an Rs2 engine for a 3b one
you need to get that ADU back in that car at once otherwise your gonna get slaughtered by this forum member's
