ive just won 4 1.8T coils off of ebay for £25 so they should be with me in the next few days and then i have to work out the pin outs. I think with those the ignition modules will become redundant but can plug into the lead that goes to them and keep them in situ so car is kept original. Ive goto work out a way of fitting them too, I may end up using OE coils yet but gonna look into this possiblilty first.
LOL yup. My boss at work bought me his brothers old coil in yesterday which he replaced but it didnt solve the problem. Im now very confused with the nano siemens readings on these because 4 in the car came out between 6-9nS no4 which i thought was knackered came out at 25-35nS and the one I got hold of yesteday reads between 100-112nS. Could someone with an ABY take them measurements off of their coil packs and save me from going mad.
Can anyone give me any more details of the 1.8T coil pin outs. Ive got the coils thru from ebay now but couldnt seem to get any conductance readings from them that were stable. Once I can work out how they are connected I can go from there.
