Thanks chaps.
I've already found the 'auditurboforum', think it where I got the wheel sizes from.

Supposed that
The PDF posted above is one of the first ones he did. Some things improved right now, learning by trying, and learning by- well...learning

So, is there such a thing as a bolt on replacement billet wheel for my compressor, that's the question I still haven't been able to answer!? It would be great it no machining had to be done to the backplate and housing. I can strip it and measure all the dimensions and I guess send the details to a few suppliers to see what they have to offer. If I knew for certain it was a 3072 G, then I guess it would be a whole lot easier to find a replacement.91 Modded 3B

@ Steve: If the numbers and the pic you posted are directly from your wheel, AND if Svensk turbosystem use OE KKK compressor wheels (that´s what you gotta ask them
) it should be the 3072G quite sure.
Your hotside is limitted around 450hp, so canging the compressor will mostly improve boost rpm, boost number and lag. Peak power upgrade should be limitted I think.
3 possibilities:
1: Try Albert´s, Vidar´s, Iroz or other compressor wheels. They all claim their compressors to flow ~450hp. Since they do not post specific data- only that they wanna sell them - I really don´t know their wheels- you gotta ask them.
2: There are some KKK wheels in the 32.. range that I really don´t know. Give me a little time, I can try to find out. These should be able to improve peak power within the range the hotside allows. If there is one, that fits your housing.
3. Change also the turbine. If you want to keep K26, you can, but it will cost a bit, and this thing is not proven yet AFAIK. Or you go K27.2, which is more common then, but you need another flange.Last edited by Quattronaut; 17 July 2016, 06:40.Comment

Probably! I did link to one earlier. So, is there such a thing as a bolt on replacement billet wheel for my compressor, that's the question I still haven't been able to answer!? But what the quality/durability/performance would be from any of these wheels which mostly originate from the Far East/China is another debate.
There are discussions on Porsche based forums if we are assuming its a K27 7200 turbo with the 3072 comp wheel.
Seem to recall that Sonic's turbo had a Turbo Technics sticker on the comp housing so presumably went there at some point.Comment

Ok, let's pour some oil in the fire. RS2 modifided on the left and on the right some of you know brand new hx35/k26 (prj had 3 made for him and one is in my hands). On one picture you can see brilliant artwork by my co-worker that cold side won't hit the head.
Anyway since my RS2 turbo was renovates by last owner kind of cheap(Bigger k26 in and ex wheels with shaft where installed and cold side was f*** with grooves). Then we decided with a local Turbo master Joda in Estonia that lets see what comes out of it when do it like this.
RS2:
In 54mm (Holset...)
Ex 56mm (Holset...)
Shaft (Holset, biggest you can fit in RS2 center part)
360 degree bearing
Oil shims or how do you call them have been modifided
Typical journal bearing but those he modifided aswell to make it more stable or durable, dunoo what he ment about that...
HX35/K26:
In 56
Ex 78
Mind the welding on rs2 hotside. There was a one crack and master joda thoght lets weld it then, should be better than to do nothing.

Will at VRS use's Turbo Technics to get most of his turbos built, he's also BS free so if he said it did 489bhp on one dyno or another then it most likely did. But we all know how much dyno's can vary, even the same one with different ambient conditions....
Turbo Technics are one of the company's I'm going to get quotes from to do the work to my hybrid, along with AET and Turbo Dynamics.
Am also open to suggestions for other UK turbo builders, preferably ones who know KKK's well.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

The welding on the one hot-side housing is...errr.. Interesting. Looks like it was done with a MIG??? Though please correct me if I'm wrong.
They look like interesting hybrids, do you have any dyno plots for either of them fitted to a 2.2?
I'm pretty set on the idea of using a 3071 O compressor wheel along with my current cold-side machined out to suit it combined with my #8 hot-side housing. I may also purchase a brand new K26 exhaust turbine and shaft to go along with it to save having to tare down the perfectly good Porsche 944 S K26 turbo I have, which could be easily sold on as it is.
I don't care about hitting 500BHP any longer, what I want is a large K26/7 that fit's my Wagner EM without any tricks, spools up fairly quickly and gives a wide power band with lot's of torque. I believe the combination of parts Quattnaut has suggested to me will offer just that.
