.... and with the right structure of primary (bigger) chamber 1 and secondary filling chamber 2 and propper SMOOTH EVEN loading flow from 2 to 1. If done otherwise it is not worth the job. If you make a copy make it from the correctly done version.

AAN Inlet Manifold on ABY

There are not fully right versions, because there is the question: does it fit into the place with the other components - Ready product is allways a good compromise you have to do. Audi did it for 220, 230 and 315HP. And for Talladega, Transam and IMSA they did the compromise differently.
Forum member Repo has true hand made experience on this subject:
see Repo´s fine pieces of welded Arts:

For Audi 10V:
http://jynssi.hohto.net/temp/imusutsi.JPG
- those will show a little bit the chambers one and two structure + how the even flow could be done smoothly into main chamber.
- This structure is very similar to MTM and Dahlbeck structures (see the WRC pics again)
- note the trumpets mounted into inlet pipes !
- not easy to mount into Audi 10V or 20V engine room but possible with lots of work.
- when you have the welding capability the fitting work is worth it
- note that this kind of hand made limited series products are not the cheapest ones to make
I Hope this helps a little bit

More pictures of factory solutions and great text & history:

- note the pictures of transam and imsa type inlet manifolds
and there the Lehman and Dahlbeck manifolds again :-)
If the design is good enough for current WRC, it should be decent enough design for Audi 20V S2 also.

Guys Any advice on chopping the manifold, decided to do it after all as it will be easier to sort with regards to the RAD........
And then go on to sort out the PSP,
Also anyone got an AAN PSP braket that I can get my hands on?
Cheers
Aaron
Getting everything to fit in the old Blue CQ and then transfering it all to the new one once I know it all works.....

I think that all the advice and BTDT's (with pics) are in the first few pages of this thread.
Additionally though, if you chop the AAN IM and move the throttle body forwards you will still have to modify the AAN PSP pump bracket (if you use it) to move the pump down lower as it will foul with the throttle body. I had to do this to get it to fit with the old chopped AAN IM set up I used to use.
Or you could use the PSP pump bracket set up that Doug used, although IIRC he didn't use the sprung belt tensioner with his.Mark - Modded
