Regarding this thread's original intent, with regards to B2, 3 and 4 type suspension top-mount choices for MacPherson struts...
If the modest benefits (stock simplicity, and silence), of what brand new original mounts initially deliver, could be economically reinforced such that they're kept that way (but although now stronger and more durable, are still supple enough) might be of interest, here's a link to a successful option available since 2016, which is still currently possible and that may suit:
