034 is right across the Bay from me and I'm looking at doing a short shift myself. If it's worth it (i.e. cheaper than your UK 034 source), I'd be happy to be a local go between and then ship over the lot to the UK. Would need someone on your side of the pond to handle local distributions. Busy with a 2 week project for work, but would be available after that to figure things out.

so that looks the same as the $110 model from 034?

btw: here are the instructions on how to mod it to have the reverse lock-out (6 speed box)

Yeah, the cheapest one is also the only one you can retro fit the reverse lock out.

However if it works for my ABY I will buy one as it's really hard to select gears with it at the moment.

That one doesn't indeed.

@ Lloyd, in order to lenghten the throw I had to machine the shaft down (it gets wider on the lower end, limiting the max adaptation in throw) and make a new groove for the circlips. This means my shifter nog comes a bit higher then normal, but at least the throw is now acceptable. If you don't do this, it is undriveable, believe me
