Dave - I seem to remember in one of your excellent threads you posted about bearing removal tools? It was a kit you had and showed that I was interested in hearing more about. Does it let you swap bearings without actually removing the upright as long as you remove the driveshaft? Do you need any special tools to use it and how would you rate it?

Its a German made tool and yes, allows bearing change on the car. It works really well and is easy to use. I will dig out the details.

After a long wait the car is finally getting a full glass out re spray!
It's at Whitland Restorations near Aberaeron. They have a YouTube channel and videos will be coming soon. The car has been stripped completely and is now in epoxy. Here are a couple of pics.

I need four new cups that locate the outer rear windscreen trims. Anyone know the part number?

As I suspect you've already tried, that part doesn't appear in ETKA (or at least I couldn't find it) but you might try 6Q0837975 as a substitute. Couple of £s from TPS, just not sure if it's going to be the right size.

They look a bit like the grommets that hold the trim under the headlights,
but probably not the same size and shape.
