My RS2 has 70K miles and had just had a windows out body work restoration.
It is an original 1995 RHD UK vehicle.
Now serviced by a specialist VAG / porsche garage where the technician that PDI'd the car now works.
    Garaged and no expense spared.

Funny, how the slow version is more limited The US recieved ~1500 between 1991 and 1992. They react really well to a bit o boost!

I would love to get a low mileage USDM CQ20v and keep it with just the turbo setup I have now. I'd keep my current or build a I5 sedan as a hooligan toy :

I pretty much decided today that my goal is to collect every sport version I can (S4, 6, 8 RSx and one day R8!) my main fear is Audi's lack of part support.

If you go to howmanyleft.co.uk you can look up any make and model of car in the UK and see from 1994 to present how many cars were registered and SORN. For the second quarter of this year fro example there were 71 RS2s taxed and 49 SORN this is info supplied by the DVLA.
I find this site very interesting.

Just resurrecting this old thread . . . I have been able to identify seven RS2s currently located in Australia (all RHD). Three RS Blue (including mine), three Ragusa Green, one Black.

The Black car is ex NZ. As far as I know, all the others are ex UK.

I don't claim to fully understand the UK system, but it seems strange that there are so many listed as SORN . . . more than double the number that are taxed and on the road. Why would this be the case? I also don't understand why the number of RS2s on the road peaked at 152, when supposedly the UK received 180 cars (though there seems to be some debate over whether the 180 RHD was UK only or the entire world)?

There was 180 RHD and out of those some went to South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, I imagine the reason for so many SORNs now is that the owners recognise the value and dont want to put them on the road, actually you will see that year on year the graph rises and dips, the dips are the winter months when most classics get SORNED and the peaks are when they get taxed again.

I believe New Zealand got 13 cars. Australia didn't get any.
