Really bad water leak through sunroof is now fixed, see this thread here which got me on the right track.

A successful weekend for the Avant. Thanks to Bertman I got my water leak fixed with a drip tray nicked from his spare sunroof The drip tray on mine was completely missing so nothing to stop the water going through the back edge of the sunroof from ending up in the headlining and running out at the top of the A pillar straight onto the seat (or your leg if you're driving) Hopefully its all good now.

Ever since I got the car I've noticed that there's a smell of exhaust fumes if I have the window down or the sunroof open so this afternoon I took the back bumper off to fix the wheel arch bracket which I broke recently (don't ask.. ) and while it was off had a look at the one way vents that are hidden there and found the source of the fumes. The vent on the LH side near the exhaust is smashed so in the meantime I've gaffer'd up the hole and hopefully it will be fume free from now on

Still a little water getting in, there was a small damp spot on the seat today

On the plus side there's a Hoffer76 Hybrid turbo and a set of chips waiting to go on

surprising how much difference just the chips make even better on your new turbo though.

Pick up is excellent, the advance feels good, it goes quicker with less boost and less throttle, I like. I've not even really driven it hard, I can just feel its really lively, the car feels lighter Can't wait to get the turbo fitted.

no Damian it's a k24 7000 hybrid just a little smaller than your last turbo.

Will be interested to see how this goes, 165k old k24 isn't getting any younger!

I'll take some pics later, the comp wheel is apparently much lighter than the old skool K24 wheel so should spin up nicely

If I'd kept the Avant I think one of those would have been going in to make a very lively 'fun car'
