I know about the differances the question was how did you adapt a 6 cyl to accept a 5 cylinder engine.
remove the v6 alloy mounts(just undo the 2 or 3 bolts on each one from inside the inner wing) which leaves a nice clean area to weld on the steel 5 cylinder ones,either cut them off another car or i do believe you can still buy them new

went to santa pod last sunday and did 4 runs . very slippy like ice but managed a 12.6 @115 mph.
new turbo this week so will let you know what the new time are when i go next.

8 mph up on my terminal speed so much better. you need 900bhp to use the diesel box i rekon
i put a rs4 b6 box in with the oil cooler in the end and it works really well
good to hear, when's it getting mapped with the new turbo? interested to hear what the difference is between the two housings as the one that was on it when you took me out was mental.
