Since when was the RS2 cam belt wider than the AAN or ABY cam belts?

Here is a photo by somebody here of AAN (top), 3B (middle) and RS2 (bottom) cam belts. Look the same width to me.

can you see any where i said the belt is wider ?.
i had some sprockets made wider in case people want to use a wider belt of some sort which i'm going to use on my stroker project for strength. get your facts right !

                      • The wide belt is used in VW 16v and early 1.8T 20v engines. The 16v cam wheel can be used in I5-20v but it does not fit under the timing belt cover. The tooth profile is the same.

Also tall block 5cyl diesel and 2.5 petrol engines use the wider belt but with different tooth profile (more square like in the old 5cyl audi).

Can't remember just now what water pump should be used in I5-20v with the wide belt. Anyone?

Actually I think 3B water pump has wide enough pulley to handle the wide belt.
