Its moving slowly foreward..

Currently playing the waiting game on the s2 due to new apartment and service on the daily.
The engine is good, only lacking the new ECU before mapping starts.
The plan was to run the avus in OEM grey, but got a change of mind the other day and ended up with the engine colour on the wheels:


It will be bloody awesome, hiding those 8 pots and contrast to the blue colour of the car.

Fiddled a bit with the vaccum hoses aswell. New routing and trying to make them dissappear:


Goal is 1,5 bar boost and a reliable engine with some extra puff. Some theories of what that'll make on the dyno?

What colour are the wheels? I've got some to do and I think that will suit them well.

Thinking of sanding down the 'rs' logo on the calipers and put 'clubsport' on insted. Ought to be a nice detail

Got one day of working in the garage, and finally some results done. Got tires on, new spacers and new bolts. Joy!

8-pot or die:


Workshop height, the real lowering commence once all work is done:


10mm spcers up front and 8mm rear, looks ok and got plenty of room for lowering:

oh noes! Brakediscs mounted opposite sides! What an noob error. Lol

Edit: looks like two right side discs. hmm, is there an left and right side disc? Anyone?

I used AMG Mercedes E55 discs for an 8 pot conversion and they were both the same. I tried to take them back and they told me they were supposed to be like that Not sure if Audi are the same though.
