Looking at the dark area around the right hand shaft, in the picture, it looks like it's leaking to me, unless you have been working on it with WD40 / spray oil.

That may be right! i'll give it a check.
Thought i'd go over it all and inspect thurrow (correct?) when i chage the oil in the diffs/gearbox.
Hope it's not to serious.

Get a v8 diff in there and change the seals while you are at it.

Well, today i got the BillZcat short shifter on. finaly got to get rid of the momo knob and replaced it with a leather rs4 knob. much more comfy to shift with, both the shortshifter-kit and the knob.
It so nice to have a firm shifter which just says "click-click" when you shift!
A must for all s2 owners..

Jon just watch ebay :mischeif: i'm glad i got mine when i did, if i had the money though i'd have the new RS4 rims yum.

Remind's me i bought a 5th S8 alloy as a spare must look out for some rubber to cover it...

Thanks Jon! Do i need to say I got them very cheap off one local dude here as they were scratched and dirty, so thats why the colour change. I think they give the car some "racing look" with that colour and the Toyo tyers.


These wheels are mainly for trackuse only, but they'll do until i get the hold of the BBS GT magnesium wheels.
To bad i havent got the centre caps from the paintshop yet (they needed to match the powdercoat colour).

a little "story" from todays driving:
Went to a carshow today, a rs2, a s6 (344hp) and me racing through the capital and out on the contry to where the show were. It was a incredible sight, three "familycars" (or slipperwagons if you may) going in a hurry using all the lanes and sound beyond reckognition!
ah that v8 sounds so lovley.
But, i noticed on the way back, that the tyers weren't all good on rain when i floored it out on the ramp to the highway spinning on all four in 3rd!!!! when the boost (finally) came.
Ah, i dig the s2 more and more by every minute i drive it.

Dig in on those beer bottles guys and girls!
I have a whole case to finish off.

Polished the car all yesterday with a 3 step combo:

Step1: 3M finnishing material, for cleansing of the laquer
Step2: Meguiars polishing wax
Step3: Meguiars Seal wax.

..and the result is so nice. I used about 12hours total icluding dinner and some beers. hehe
But the car deserved it.
