Anyways,
for a update on the project there isnt "much" other than that I need new:

*Head
*Crank
*Block (?)
*EM ((?) unsure but maybe it'll do with machining the surface)
*Pistons
*Clutch
*Flywheel

So now im on lookout for bits n bobs to my new engine build.
Not sure if to go for a 2,5 stroker or a "easy" 2,2 bottom end.
It really depends on money and time, and I want it to be a quality build as I intend to use the new engine a bit on track and trips.

Also a freind of mine is gathering intel on a H&R clubsport coilover kit, so we'll see what it'll be in the end.

Thanks for the thought! I sure dont wish anyone other in the community gets one of the same wreckdown type like this.

BTW, the incident to it all is probobly like in this order:

1. Tap on crankpulley crushed (likley by applying to much NM on the bolt during timebeltchange)
2. crankwheel get loose.
3. Bottom end does not compare with timing in the head = inlet valves crash into pistons
4.crankwheel gets going again
5.due to nr.4, tap on exhaust 7a cam snaps so wheel dont move the cam
6. 5 = even more crash with head and bottom end.
7. engine stops.

Ergo = beware of timebelt change!

Im going to Hammelburg (Himmelburg or whats it called in Germany) now in a couple of weeks time to work there, so my job is sending alot of eqipment down there, so maybe there is room for an engine back from there, home of the IL5 20v Turbo?!

Actually I was told it would do around 430-460 hp, and that was around my old setup (maybe a little bit over), but I just had to try it out to see the diffrence. And i can guarantee there was a BIG diffrence! But all in all, rods are still ok, pistons not ok, and crank is probobly not ok as written before. Oh yes and the head is full of cracks on the regular places ofcourse.

They say one is suppost to learn among the years that go by, but that does not include me
