Small update:
New junior power timer connectos ordered weeks ago, new hoses fitted - NG rad hose and heaterfan-silicone hoses, the catch tank got a new more descret placement and hoses, new throttlecable from audi fitted like a glove, new main rad is back on its place, new HKS air filter is on (black of corse), new IC is on (black this also), bumper is fitted nicely but removed again to continue work on the pressurepipes (which also will be black!), DP is cut and re-welded to compensate for the GB spacer which now is gone retired full time. All fluids are ready to go on, but I'm awaiting that as I never know if I'll undo something with untill it all is complete and ready for startup.
I also got hold of a 1000mm pas pump belt that fitted absolutley perfect without modifying or cutting in anything, using Wagner IM and it's pas pump bracket.
The latest days detailing fun, the generator:

Just need to fix the brackets to the 8 pots, send in the some frontal parts to the local paintshop (bumper, x-member, t-piece(s) and underheadlight trims), wait for bits and bobs coming from the plater/galvanaizer, make a few brackets and turbo support, then I'm pretty ready for startup.
All I can say is that it feels good to have a such clean engine bay, and it does look quite nice aswell.
Pictures to come when the piping is done.

Got some stuff done today also, not bad at all due to all the other erands I had to run.
The new 4-port heavy duty WGFV from Bo (thanks mate) got a new rubberboot, and finally got around to installed it permanent:

Installed (missing one clamp though as I broke one):

also got all the exhaust on today, polished 3" all the way with black/charcoal gray exhaust wrap. Very nice with all the other black theme

One pressure pipe halfway done, needs a full weld and paint then its game on:

1000 x 13 pas pump belt fitted perfectly, 1025 x 13 was way to long:

A little room for the pas-bolt to move around also
(all clearance is good clearance):

Tomorrow I'll start with the wireing to the TPS and Air sensor as the connectors came in today.
Each day is 1 step foreward, then 2 step back. Love it

Got some done today aswell. New wires made for the tps and tps sensor, as I've never done it before, it took some houres to do it all, but happy with the results.
Just a pita to find everything you would need for making such a wire also. Ah, never again, thats for sure
1 done:

The 6 pin connector I had to extend as I didnt find any male for it:

Both done and in place where they should be:

Now its just filling up the fluids and weld the other pressure pipe then its startup time.
Work on monday, that means no s2 fun for a while.
cheers,Anders - S2 Avant Clubsport - 8pots or die!

thanks, I've gone with SS pipework, as the pipes I got hold of is only 1,5mm thick and they weigh far from much at all, and also the strenght is kept in the material. Hmm, I'll see if I manage to get them weighted today.
The tial flange is also SS btw
