Last time i drove the car was in september 2010, in this time lots of things have happend in my life including me getting married, but not a lots happend to the car. 2013 is time to change that.
The list of things i have to do is
- Finish off building the new dual inlet manifold
- Fabricate new charge pipes and fit smaller throttle body
- Fabricate and fit a new rear rad
- Fabricate and fit a new pre rad with a new dual chargecooler, pump and pipework
- Sort out a head gasket for 82.5mm pistons
- Fabricate chassis stiffening braces for the front end
- Relocate the screamer pipe into the downpipe
Thats all i can think of at the moment, i'll be sure to post some pics of the work.

Right, an update!
Things that were annoying me are now being changed
New inlet manifold, radiator, side scoops, fuel tank, some bracing and half a charge cooler.
Also the Original PAS pump is back on , on the opposite side of the engine (none of the elec ones worked the brakes properly). I'm half way through making custom lines from the pump to the steering rack which is proving tricky, keeping the internal restrictors in the pipes (has anyone removed them and run straight through pipes?).
Next i'm fabricating end tanks for the CC and installing the new pump and pre rad.
Cheers BazThe ONLY S2 Golf!

The perforated liner in the hose is like a vibration damper, so without it you will get a whining noise as you turn the wheel and the rack demands fluid from the pump - just like the sound of a hydraulic ram (which is all the rack is really). So the PAS will work fine without it, but it is noisy.Panthero Coupé quattro 20vt

Any idea why the brake line to the servo has a small orifice inline? To stop lockups on the initial press of the brake pedal maybe? To keep the flow down at high revs maybe? The ONLY S2 Golf!
