The rear bumper always had a crack in the paint up at the trunk, assume some one bumped the car at some point, also a lot of wear from stones at the bottom. Front was some clear coat marks "running"? And some areas around the intakes was to little clear coat. But now at least the bumpers are mint
C-pillars was corroded at the bottom part. B-pillars was painted just to match with the c-pillars.

Nice paint job on the car, it looks mint! Do you consider ppf on the bumper and hood to preserve it?
Yes, absolutely, its smart to change while they still are available. Then they should last another 30years maybe.
No, not at this stage. If i at some point decide to repaint the whole car, then i would sure put ppf on it.

      • Hi!
My insurance company demands a fire exstinguiser of 2kg inside the car.
While i was looking for options where to mount it i stumbled over a factory bracket (for fire exstinguiser) that fits the Recaro seats Part nr from Audi: 893860290
Fire exstinguiser is OMP 2kg powder ABC,
        aluminium body.

Only downside besides the look is that the leg support can't be slided out. But i barely don't use that function. Otherwise it fits good, the lever for sitting position is free and the seat can be moved up/down with out issues.
Maybe this info will be usefull for some body.

        • I would have assumed the extinguisher should be on the passenger side? Would make it less intrusive into your footwell, plus easier to reach over and grab?
Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris.

I don't know, this is a factory bracket made to fit the driver side Recaro. Maybe if you crash and are stuck in the car its easier to grab. Just a guess.
If it was available, i would rather like it to be mounted on the passenger seat.
