C-pillars was corroded at the bottom part. B-pillars was painted just to match with the c-pillars.

Nice paint job on the car, it looks mint! Do you consider ppf on the bumper and hood to preserve it?
Yes, absolutely, its smart to change while they still are available. Then they should last another 30years maybe.
No, not at this stage. If i at some point decide to repaint the whole car, then i would sure put ppf on it.

        Hi!
My insurance company demands a fire exstinguiser of 2kg inside the car.
While i was looking for options where to mount it i stumbled over a factory bracket (for fire exstinguiser) that fits the Recaro seats Part nr from Audi: 893860290
Fire exstinguiser is OMP 2kg powder ABC,
        aluminium body.

Only downside besides the look is that the leg support can't be slided out. But i barely don't use that function. Otherwise it fits good, the lever for sitting position is free and the seat can be moved up/down with out issues.
Maybe this info will be usefull for some body.

I would have assumed the extinguisher should be on the passenger side? Would make it less intrusive into your footwell, plus easier to reach over and grab?
Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris.

I don't know, this is a factory bracket made to fit the driver side Recaro. Maybe if you crash and are stuck in the car its easier to grab. Just a guess.
If it was available, i would rather like it to be mounted on the passenger seat.

                    Hi all!

Summer is going fast, the car has behaved good through the summer. Until i left it for a week sitting in the garage, then the evaporator decided to crack, ac compressor oil/leak fluid was on the floor one day. Now i have to get everything out (dash, heatecrcore etc) to replace the evaporator. But it's not just bad, the foam on the ventilation flaps are starting to let go, so either way i was going to have to do the job some day. This will be my little winter project i think

Otherwise i have just used the car, a bit over 1200km. Been to the Swedish car inspection, so now i have 2 years until next visit.
Been to a few car meets, even got some trophys.
                    Some pictures from the summer:

Nice pictures! Sorry to hear about your airconditioning issues. However you're right, the job was to be done one day anyhow.

Mine is spitting foam more and more, so I'm due to do that early next year too. Nice. Good thing is that the evaporator is still available. Change the heater core as well then, as they tend to do the same over time. An Audi enthusiast from Germany made one for a B3 that I also have 2 years ago (custom made, full aluminum) as the current ones are so cheap, I don't trust the quality. I did replace the foam as well. When you have the heater out, clean all the actuators on the inside, as debris from the brushes tends to short-circuit them. If I can help in any way, let me know.

Make sure that the new foam is wide enough to truely block the opening in the airbox.
I cut the foam to the size of the flap, but that leaves a gap all around the flap
and this means the airflow isn't fully under control by the controller...
So... I'll have to do it all again some day.

I did do this with my B3 80 (same airbox without the airconditioning) by making paper mock-ups first. I had to make several iterations before these were closing nicely. I still have these for a next attempt, so if you're interested let me know.
