It's like the long block, but without the cylinder head.
Uhm ok... I have seen the pic but don't know what it means... Is it a shorter stroke engine?

"Short block" just means "engine without cylinder head" (and no gearbox or ancilliaries)

            Front crank pulley

Where did you get the front crank pulley assembly? How much lighter than stock is it? Is the main cap support plate available commercially?
Just what I need to see... more bits and pieces to wonder about.

Nice project. I'm using a gtech pro SS for my 0-62 times, but if I go by 60 feet and time on the dragstrip, I'm pretty sure my car does it under 4 seconds (full weight avant) , the gtech was 0.1 secs off (slower) than the NHRA approved timing equipment used, when I set my 12.48 ET.

Looking for middle / low 11's , so 3.5 seconds 0-62 should be the goal there.

Good luck with your project! Really clean and nice!

Slow progress but machining work has been done on the manifolds and turbo.

How much would that work cost on the manifold cost normally Doug?

i'll get a price if you want it. I got the ISV pipe done, the machining to fit the water manifold, the fuel rails holes drilled and tapped, the pulley hole drilled and tapped, and all the nipples on the manifold. I also got the turbo WGFV nipple welded on and silicon hose strap bosses.
