All the boost pipes and engine loom are sorted.
2026-10-16_16-15-46_771.jpg The pesky slave is still leaking. I used a nice flat piece of metal sheet and some fine sandpaper to try and sand the mating surface flat but it didnt work. I think the thread has been cut into the slace at a slight angle so its never going to work.
I did some research and found the kit uses Goodridge 600 hose. A quick call to Merlin Motorsport and they were able to supply a flared fitting for the slave that i can connect to the pipe. It should come on Tuesday. Retrofication have not been any help at all, failing to respond to any of my emails.

That is looking really neat. Maybe time to try another slave cylinder. What ever happened to clutch cables....! Oh yea, they pulled thought MK1 bulkheads, I seem to remember.

Where are you going to mount the fuel filter? Doesnt the washer bottle fit behind the headlight?

Fuel filter is going right side of engine bay a bit further forward than it was originally. Washer bottle goes left side of engine bay infront of coolant bottle. Everything fits ( I hope).

Next job was to mount radiator and custom fan. There isnt space for the original fan and cowl and i had to move the radiator back and over slightly.

I had some felt underlay left over from my Nothelle project. I cut some panels to size.

The dash and cluster went in.
2026-10-25_14-31-28_468.jpg Next job was to make up the exhaust. I bought an off the shelf kit. It included middle and back box as well as bends, straight sections and joins. I was hoping it would bolt straight up but unfortunately it needed cutting to size and custom hangers fabricated.
