haha. damn right mate. It's the old problem of common knowledge. everyone round there is fully aware that there are no luckups to be had. Nope, can't get one for love nor money. might have been a man in 1983 got one. Big fella he was. went by the name of Big Ron. Since then there are none to be found. Nope. none at all. everyone knows that.

Think i'll buy a couple more cars at the weekend and rent as many lockups as possible.

Why should you keep quiet about having two lockups? Is there lockup envy in your area? Might someone come and steal it from you in the night, in a Robin Hood style 'Steal from the rich to give to the poor etc.'. I reckon that you should go and park your entire Audi fleet at the lockup this weekend and get as many other Audi owners to drop by. Wear a 'Del-boy' style fur coat, smoke plenty of cigars and have big bundles of money lying everywhere. If anyone asks, it's just a theme party, at 8am on a Sunday morning.

we can stop at my lockup for lunch, where i'll be selling food and soft drinks.

this is good. We got a letter from the council to "attend an interview" regarding the lockups. So my missus went in today and just called me. Apparently some old bag phoned to complain that I was obviously running a business from my lockup, selling parts to all the people that were round that day. So the council woman said she'd investigate and told the missus today she was sorry to call her in but she had to. they had a chat. the missus confirmed that I was just moving parts from one car to another, as I'd already told her when I started to rent them. So the council lady rolled her eyes and said she'd take pleasure in telling the woman she's wrong.
The old hag also complained that "some people can't even get a lockup around here" to which the council lady said "I have several available. would you like one?" Of course the hag said no. I've spoken to a few people round there who have declared that I should keep quiet about having 2 lockups because other people can't get one. Load of fukin donkey 5hit.
Just wait until I get it running and start revving the fuk out of it in the garage right up to the point noise pollution laws say I have to stop. what's that? 8 or 9 o'clock?

I'll be smiling like a motherfukker to every old lady round there in the hope that i'm winding up the right one.

well things had to pause for a wee bit mate while I sort out the 16 valve. got a replacement radiator, which I fitted and only at the end found that the lug had broken off where the hose attaches that goes to the expansion tank. must have been knocked in transit. wasn't brand new but trying to sort out a refund from the guy I bought it from if he can get it from the courier.
Also had to replace the downpipe and then left it in for MOT. bloody failed on the bottom ball joints and rear wishbone bushes. So i'm sorting that out just now. Plus family commitments. damn damn damn. I'm getting frustrated. i'll get there though. I'm getting a temporary breather made by a local bloke. might just be a couple of bits of pipe welded up to replace the aluminum one that newsh came up with. still waiting to hear what dave and paul come up with samco wise but i'll get this temp solution to keep me going in the meantime.
when I get the daily driver sorted again i'll get stuck into the s2. just bad timing that the radiator died, downpipe went and MOT was due all at the same time.
