20V CQ Tidy Up

Minor update. I've not had time to do anything on the coupe for a few weeks, but today I found a few hours to tie up a few loose ends.

Got the exhaust finished finally. I had to make suitable heat shield for the tunnel, as there is only around 20mm clearance against the centre section.
I used one of my old 7A shields, but it needed quite a bit of persuasion to make it fit






With the exhaust fitted:




Little stainless bracket on the prop bearing to support a stiff exhaust hanger. These are great, next to zero movement in the exhaust:




Lower chassis brace fitted, and all done:




Hoping to get the interior all refitted tomorrow and driveshaft spacer finished tomorrow. Then I just need to finally sort out my prototype adjustable PAS pump and should be ready for a quick road test & then MOT

Cheers guys, pleased with how the exhaust has turned out, I've definitely got more ground clearance than with my old 2.25" Scorpion system



Hope it doesn't turn out to drone too much at cruising speeds

That looks fantastic. Really like the exhaust and your layout. What did you do around the rear axle for the exhaust?

I have been thing about some chassis bracing as well, might use one of a cabriolet if that will fit.

Edition 2.8 v6 ?

It was on my 2.8 1993 cabriolet, not sure if the 1992 2.3 and 1997 1.8 I have owned had it as well.
