Seems good so far
It's loud, but not quite as loud as I thought it would be, its a nice sound very deep & bassy. I'll see how it goes. As long as there is minimal drone I'll be happy.

At first I thought you had some nasty valve train noise, it was only at the end I realised it was the exhaust crackling even at low revs! Lovely.
I am looking forward to seeing (and hearing) your beast at ADI....

Cool, it should be perfect then.
Hopefully the additional hangers will help prevent it droning, as there no room for a resonator!
Steve - top end is pretty noisy actually, I took the oil cap off and there is plenty splashing about in there so don't think there is a problem.
The head was standing on it's side for 18 months so I figure it'll take a while for the lifters to refill & bleed.
One thing that puzzled me - I'd previously pressure tested the cooling system to find any leaks before I started it, it held around 1 bar for over 10 minutes with no leaks.
The coolant level dropped down to about half a tank as it warmed up, I just assumed it was bleeding air out. Then as it cooled down the level returned to about normal.
I guess it needs bleeding again. Will have a look into this once I've re-torqued the head studs.
Looking good there alex. Good decision on going for a single box system, im sure you'll really like it. Dont get it too dirty before ADI

First time the after-run pump kicked in perhaps but puzzling since it returned to normal.
Just had a chance to look at the video and can't believe how smooth she's running, sounds great too!
The engine bay is just gorgeous Alex, well done mate

Did you bleed it when it was up to temperature? These systems aren't self bleeding are they?
I didn't realise just how beautiful a view it is underneath your bonnet is until I spent the last two evenings messing about in my corroded, crusty excuse for an engine bay
