I hope everyone is having a happy new year so far. I've been busy with a new job at a new company and haven't had much time, not to mention parts, for the RS2. I did however get a nice surprise Christmas present from my lovely wife. A car cover for the RS2.

She called a car cover store in California and told them what type of car she needed a cover for and they said "oh yes, we know what that is....it's the same cover as an Audi 80 avant". Very cool.

@Tom - could you perhaps provide the details of this store - I'm struggling to find a decent fitting cover for my RS2
              Thanx - much appreciated

                The cover was purchased from:

                Car-Covers.com
                1281 Franquette Ave, STE C
                Concord, CA 94520

                support@car-covers.com

My wife had nothing but good things to say about them. Good price, cable lock, storage bag, and free shipping. They even threw in 3 microfibre dusting cloths.

She's a saint to put up with me and my car adventures.

Cheers for sorting that out for me.

She's a keeper. I realized that the first time I took her to dinner. You need to explain to yours that at least she knows where the money if going.........not down a rat hole at the pub or strip joint. That might put it in perspective for her.

Funny thing is that she has been bugging ME to get a cover for it. She's probably just tired of hearing me complain about the wee ones dragging their little fingers down the side of it every time the pass.

A bit overrated though for a car in a garage

I ended up ordering a car cover for a B5 Avant and it fit the RS2 perfectly. I didn't think I'd be able to find one for a B4 Avant let alone an RS2 in North America.

                              Car covers

If any of the Irish forum members want one of these covers for their bus just let me know and I can bring it home with me next week. I'm actually in Concord (San Francisco) for the next two days on business, this place is only a mile from my hotel. Small world!
To our UK buddies drop me a message if you're interested. I am limited by weight flying home to Ireland but if I can save y'all some postage ill gladly help.
