I'll be in the US after Easter, might have to look into one of these! Talking of which, I may be driving from Kentucky to Florida which would put me in your neck of the woods... Perhaps I should donate a part so I can claim its part mine

Back in the Fall I sourced a used set of original RS2 322mm discs from Switzerland. I spotted these rare bits at Tots garage and inquired. The discs had seen better days which didn't matter since it was the bells that I was after.
For years I have wondered how the RS2 322mm bells differed from 993tt version so today was the day to finally find out. There is lots of misinformation about this out there so I hope this clears the air.

After some time in the blast cabinet.
As far as I know there is not a Porsche equivalent to the OE 2-peice 322mm RS2 disc, right? So here is what is weird about these bells.......there is a Porsche part number on them.
So plug that number into your favorite internet search provider and see what you get.........a solid one piece 965 (964 turbo) disc. This 965 351 046/045 disc can be used on RS2s with the factory 322mm update also, but why would it be stamped on the Audi equivalent 2-peice disc?

I went through this process recently Tom. I actually bought the porsche part - they are currently on the car and work fine - but I also have a set i bought from some guy's shed, brand new and just need a slight clean up. What would be of great interest is whether there's another porsche disc that can be used on those bells instead of trying to source insane priced Audi parts, do you have anything in mind?
The .11 distinguish's the Audi "porsche" part from the regular one - would have to check but that had a different 'version' number after the part no.AUDI - saving Dad's from minivans since 1994

993tt is a direct replacement for the rings. I have already mounted a set to my new bells. Pictures are on their way.......
the .11 part number turns up nothing in the Porsche parts bin unfortunately. Maybe the .11 number is just an internal number to designate the RS2 part at Porsche.Comment

First of all.....That is Yogi bear......not that purple atrocity.
Stan and Ollie were a gift from my mum a few years back. The base on which they are standing reads "NO SMOKING". It is hard to see in the pics, but they are both gripping a fag and pointing at each other.
From an earlier post of mine.......
