We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Looking good there, something i've got to do soon, just out of interest with the rear brake setup, from reading some of the threads by paul I thought one set of brakes needed the discs taking down from 280-260mm does this still need to be done?
If not do you still have the part-no's to hand for the bits you have used?
Not much progress on this recently, the block is now bored
Managed to get all the rings gapped, a big thanks to Mark Halligan for lending me his ring gapping tool
Got the sensors I needed to go on the flywheel for crank position and engine speed, just got to get the block machined to fit them now
Does this seem familiar?
Got the crank in and measured so I could fit a rod and piston to see how much needs skimming off the block. Let hope the machine shop don’t screw up again.
RS2 crossmember and intercooler now repainted and ready to fit
Roose Motorsport hoses to convert from 3B to ADU setup. Really impressed with the service from these guys, I rang them on Tuesday afternoon to see if they had any kits in stock and they didn’t. But they could get me the 2 hoses that I needed on their own, I was expecting a lead time of around 2-3weeks but they turned up on Thursday morning!!
Oh, and I got this too, GT3071R, 0.83A/R

Not had chance to do much recently, somebody has had me busy building an E30 Alpina!
I took a die grinder to the block and got the crank sensors mounted. The TDi does not use these so there was no mounting point for them. Just need to skim the bracket a little bit to bring the sensor within range of the flywheel.
