Hi Bram, have you got anymore pics of the airbox mods?

Also some details on the mounts and how you got them to fit?

034 don't sell engine mounts that fits the S2 off the shelf in street density so what did you buy / change to get them to fit?

      awesome mate...
thats the same setup (turbo, em) that I would eventually like to run....
although I got a wagner im already....
that might be good for you too so you aren't constricting the flow at all with the 3b im (if it is even constricting)

Like Jamo, I'd love to see some more pics of the airbox mods. Where did you get that larger plastic intake tube? I can't tell from the pic...does it have a "velocity stack" type of curved inlet?

I also have the new Wagner EM.

Thanks for the great pics and thread.

I have not fitted the engine mounts yet. So you are saying these will not fit my S2 Avant?

That would be really a dissapointment, as the website indicated at that time it would fit.

First you have to remove the old pipe of the ABY box

Then I used a 'dremel' to grind away some material of the box to fit the new tube

test fitting all the time, to make sure I do not remove too much plastic

I also shortend the tube a bit further then seen on the picture, and also rotated it in such a way that the air filter is not obstructed by the tube

The hole that still existed above the new tube (where the original ABY tube was fitted) I closed by using some fluid rubber/silicone that dried out in 2 days.

I bought the tube at an audio specialist who make their own subwoofers. It is simply a bass-reflex port, somehow a bit modified to produce another sound

As you can see on the pics it fits quite perfectly the hole of the RS2 plastic airbox holder, that sits behind the head light. The box is now held in place by the MAF hose and being pushed forward.

                      Yes Bram note the following

Mounts will fit most Audi I5 including UrQuattro, 4000/Coupe GT, 80/90/Coupe Quattro, 5000, 100, 200, S4 and others. Note, some non-US cars use an offset-style mount, these will not fit that application, we will have those available soon.
The offset is for S2 and RS2 cars and I confirmed with 034 last year they don't fit http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/view...r=asc&start=75

Have you got any pics of what you did the modify the airbox to fit fit with the 3071r turbo? Sorry I should have stated that's what i'm interested in.

O no, not again the wrong engine mounts! I can't believe it. I especially ordered these with the remarks it should fit the ABY S2 avant....... I will have to mail Javad again, and probably wait a few months till they make the street density ones for the S2 and RS2.

The modifications are in the following picture. Remove the chassis holder of the box

and finally reform the heat shield that it fits the box again.

I also removed the tips of the sidewall-plugs of the box, that normally drop into the chassis
Now the box fits fine and sits a bit further to the front
