Sounds good.
The turbine wheel is a bit small for 500hp though at 54.4mm.

But 450+ should be possible. We will see during mapping I guess.

Tha very similar to measurements from your old one, albeit with a #8 Hotside and tiny bit smaller comp wheel (mine measured up at 78/56 if I recall)....

i have uninstalled mine yesterday¡ it is perfect one year before we put it in Richard´s house and i remember he told me that it was a custom one who could reach 450Hp

got it at hand so i could meassure something?

Nope, this new turbo is from Will.

from recollection it's the same turbo spec will used to run a nice solid 440-450hp with bags and bags of torque

The car has done 400 miles since the rebuild as of tonight, so I couldn't resist taking up it up to about 5krpm WOT in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and into 5th

I was getting 1.5 bar solid from about 4k and it pulled like a train. The speedo was reading quite high at the end of the run but it felt like I was tickling the engine shifting early.

I assume the reason I'm only seeing 1.5 bar is because of the run-in map I'm on, but it felt ****ing awesome regardless! AFR dropped to ~11.8 under WOT which I understand to be about right.

I can't wait to get a few more miles on the clock and take it up to 6k over the coming days... And then onto 7k...

by the way i ran 489bhp with same blower on mine so should be good for that
but mine was mapped by MRC so maybe thats where the extra power came from

Best of luck with the mapping watching this thread with real interest as plan on an engine rebuild latter in year and would like to run the k26/27 just cos it seems in-period, if you don't mind me asking who/where did the turbo come form and a cost if it's not too cheeky..........cheers Mark..

Hi Mark,

The turbo came from Will @ VRS (who posted above you), i cant quite remember where he sourced it from, but it was brand new, and came in at a grand +VAT IIRC.
