Nope, its stock, it does look very red in the picture? Reflected from the toolbox?
All red US tails would look good!

Rear bumper off, boot carpet out, trim off, rear inner quarter panel off.
Used a slide hammer to pull the arch out a bit more into shape, struggling to get to the back of a dent inside though. Also the inner and outer arch have started to seperate in a couple of sections. Do I need to pull them together and weld, or just fill with seam sealer?

Started removing the filler as well, some of it is well stuck down, some has come loose.
Anybody know a quick way of removing it?

A decent knotted wire brush on a grinder will make mincemeat of that filler.
The outer arch tub is just folded behind the arch lip, you should be able to fold the lip back carefully, there is also I believe a special tool available for this.
You could also weld a hoop to the dent and then use the slide hammer to pull it out.
I have all this to look forward to as i have a bit of surface rust emanating from an old repair on my arch, I'll be watching with interest

Worked perfectly

Got a nasty dent at the door, right behind the seat belt mount

Yup the outer is just folded (or was) over the inner, good idea on the hoop for pulling, thanks.
Once it is all in place would you use seam sealer on the joint? In the inside or outside?
I am also waiting to see what Newsh does, its not a particularly nice area to work on. Once I get this side sorted there is a bubble on the other arch that has developed from the rear bumper rubbing.
The 90 looking like the S2 bits will work without to much grief? I dont know when it will be done, I am not rushing this, I want to do it properly, once. But also want to use the car this year, so I think I will do stages.
Stage 1 (just now/next month or so)
Sort the rear quarter
Sort any damaged underseal
Sort the front seats
Make sure the shell is "sealed" and will not deteriorate
then fit
Turbo
injectors
fpr
ecu
exhaust
MOT, tax 6 months and drive this summer
Then maybe re bush one end etc next winter, sort the interior, engine bay etc etc
Hopefully by doing chunks it will get done, done well, I will not lose interest/spend to much at once etc.
Just going to throw the turbo etc on without opening the engine and drive it, if it pops then will take it from there.

Picked up some flap discs, they remove stuff quite quickly, good for cleaning metal for welding as well.

A bit of paint/rust removal

You can see the inner and outer here, with the fold

Also need to sort this, where the rear bumper bolts into the arch
