When there's several explanations for a result, the simplest is usually correct

Put a spare injector in a container, connect to the harness, crank it over, have you got fuel?

Spare plug in one of the coil packs, rest on valve cover, crank it over, have you got spark?

Tried to fit the 7A dizzy Michael lent me, gears are different.

3B on the left, 7A on the right.



Swirl pot and drain arrived from terrybullwon.

Its not my dizzy, only a short term loan whilst Michael changes his headgasket.

i know but you can remove the pen,swap the gear,place back the pen and try it on the engine.then at least you know that this is the problem!
afterwords swap the gear back

what? since when 7a and 3b gears are different?
Left one does not seem like it was 7a/3b gear.

it looks like 10v distributor on the left. can you please check again which was from your 3b and which was a loan distributor from 7a?
