Yeah, I think you didn't mention the static 14.7 on the gauge the first call.
Good thing you figured it out though. You are getting quite good at this
Seems like your car hates you just as much as mine hates me.Leave a comment:

Forgot to say not doing ultimate dubs as don't want to do high miles without tracking as tracksay tires are not cheap and decised I prefer to stay local until mapping done for piece of mind

Well it's been an eventful couple of days. Was booked in for tracking fri late afternoon. So used a boost pack to jump the car and headednout on the 1hr journey through rush hour in horrible rain/fog weather.
Coming just out the north side of luton on the A6 stopped at a petrol station to fill up for the journey. getting back in the car despite having been on the road for 40+min battery was flat again. (Sitting too long uncharged). So boosted it again pulled out the station and it started reving very eraticaly and stalled. Couple of attempts later managed to coast her to a safe place in a local industrial estate.
After a discussion with prj came to the conclusion the maf had possibly given up as afr's where reading a perfect 14.7 on the gauge so a recovery truck was en route.
Got back to Quattro Coachworks who stayed back for me, got her of the truck and set about diagnosing. At which point i noticed that the Afr was still 14.7 with the ignition on but engine not running. At which point i thought if the wideband was gone wondered whether the narrow band was too. So unplugged the lambda and low and behold the car ran perfectly again. Aaaaargh!
Well feeling relieved and stupid at the same time I called it an evening leaving it to be sorted for the morning.
So in the morning fitted a new lambda and new battery and we took the car for a spin to go and take some photos. Despite not being mapped or tracked the car drove great so can't wait for the roadtrip to belgium on the 24th for the heaven on wheels show.
Will post up photos in the very near future once they've been forwarded to me, if the teaser is anything to go by I can't wait

Just waiting to hear back from a trader but there is a 50/50 chance I may end up on their stand at UD this weekend as one of the cars doesn't look like it will be done in time so fingers crossed and thay can be the official release with pics after the weekend
As for the MOT had the best advisory comment ever and deserves to be framed at the end of the year, check out #2
