I think what made him nervous in the end was I finally started to lift of the throttle. Which was a first since we started properly on it on thurs.

Anyway private road or not got wife and kids at home so I know when to make the call to say no.

Got dyno videos coming along with other bits and bobs although we tweaked the boost map post dyno junking the apexi avcr in favour of motronic after we couldn't get it to come in before 5300rpm with surge. Now with motronic we got full boost of 2.5bar around 4400rpm with no surge. So before posting final dyno figures I want to go and do a fresh power run with the improved control and wider power band.

We did several FATS logs which started to prove difficult to get exact figures for as the ECU sampling speed could no longer keep up with how fast the revs are climbing in third. But I'll let prj post the log and times up.

Saying that the rev counter is a tad slow too.

255 load means more than 600hp for sure true?
I remember to had 245 at 5000rpm in my 80.

    What clutch?

Have you mapped it on the road and wet conditions?

It's done, and it's been a long time since I've been scared in the passenger seat, but this one does it, especially in the wet...
Many firsts on this car ECU wise - speed density, dynamic second fuel pump activation, boost control via top WG chamber with custom solenoid, breaking 255 load and a few other things as well.

Putting twin resonator on back helps creates low rumble so noise travels but not really loud.

Wastegate is open enough to flow at top end

Fitted larger injectors today and my choice of spark plugs and took a 1hr drive. Pretty much sorted cold start and pulls away smoothly from cold straightaway. Car drives lovely upto 5k haven't tried to go higher yet waiting till dyno, it's very very smooth compared to previous 3079 and cast evo manifold with stock intake and maf. Tried to get porsche gt3 to play on way home but not interested, probably the jet turbine noise coming up behind him as I pulled out. Afterwards prj mentioned i was only on 1/3rdthrottle and 0.4bar of boost

    Video will come soonish.

I've a resonator just where the middle muffler should be too!

Don't you have problems with your neighbors and the police?

I realized that most of the disturbing noise comes only thanks to the small rear box.... My wife told me that never again wants to travel in my car I'm thinking to re-install stock rear box for cruising and use the cutout for racing environments

JP,in your car,the wastegate will be dumping gas after 6k to 8k or will be closed? Because if it closes it wouldn't help the 3" system or am I wrong?

    Correct me please

Decided to run an independant exhaust and wastegate so I could retain the 3" downpipe for improved mid range response compared to a larger downpipe whilst still having flow almost equivalent of a 4" system at WOT. The theory is all sound on paper hopefully the results will be as desired.
JP, do you think that? 3" downpipe + separate screamer = 4" exhaust?

many people says that for GT35 and bigger turbos 3.5" is needed

how is possible to measure or know about the back pressure?

i have a 3" full system + now a cutout 1 meter after the turbo + a separate screamer pipe.... should be enough to map decently a GTX3582?

Not really started yet. Just worked on the ECU a little, but it's only mapped enough to move it around...
Either way, not my position to speak about it, it'll be done when it's done and details will be given when the owner thinks that the time is right
