Well the car is done pretty much. Insured, mot'd and tax'd. Going to take her for tracking tomorrow and on sat mor ing will get photos done.

Just waiting to hear back from a trader but there is a 50/50 chance I may end up on their stand at UD this weekend as one of the cars doesn't look like it will be done in time so fingers crossed and thay can be the official release with pics after the weekend

As for the MOT had the best advisory comment ever and deserves to be framed at the end of the year, check out #2

Well onto the final hard push to get the car out for this season.

Managed to fit the new fuel filter yesterday and dialled in the fp regulator and made the car turnkey again after it's long static intake upgrade.

First thing I noted was the engine has a much smoother/less eratic idle than before so hopefully that's a sign of things to come

No real pics for this update but I've attached a picy of the fuel filter :-)

According to tracking details there is a nice packagr from Carbon Design arriving today. Leaving myself with a very short list to complete.

    Turbo support bracket
    Intake support bracket
    Fit carbon sexyness
    Fit rear subframe bushes
    Fit brakes.
Mot, tax and track all ready for the car season

    Depends, it has it's downsides.
With a MAF the customer don't need to run to me for remap for every little thing.

With speed density, anything you change = remap.
But please please please don't pollute JP's thread with this

I still hope I get my speed density algorithm working for your car JP and you can just weld that hole shut lol.
I am making first tests this weekend.

That is a nice way to have the maf plumbed in.

Not much chance of boost leaks for you then!

Another late and productive one. The boost run from new tb location to intercooler is ready to be painted and the maf to be permanently fitted.

Believe it or not almost easier than stock. 1/4" drive with stubby 1.5"long 6mm allen key. Reach in from underneath and put your hands between water and intake manifolds. Then third of a turn at a time

I want to only have one project car and finish it 100% before I think about another, easy to get distracted with one but add more and it is too much for mere mortals...
