Little update once again. Had to try and figure out how to fit two 044 pumps into the original fuel tank whilst making sure that I didn't impede flow to support the big hp figures.

To make full use of the duel pump setup I had to be able to run 2 x -6an into 1 x -8an or 2 x 8mm internal bore to 1 x 9.5/10mm internal bore.

So after a bit of pondering I decided the way forward was to ensure I got the two fuel pumps to join inside the fuel tank and therefore only have to worry about one exit. This would then allow me once ready to run both pumps to only have to put a live to the fuel pump relay. It also allows the car to remain driving on the stock fuel feed pipe and fuel rail with no changes to be required until I was ready to fit a -8an feed and billet fuel rail to the new intake manifold.

The end solution ended up being as follows

First I took an M14x1.5 banjo (stock is m12) and opened the 9.4mm hole to 10mm.

I then drilled out the original M12 thread and tapped it to take the new M14 fitting

Once done I ground of the original fuel fitting from inside the tank which was 6mm and drilled it out to 11.6mm so I could tap it with a 1/2"-20UNF which allowed me to use a piece of stainless tube of 12mm external and 10mm id.

Having machined a collar and ground of some steel barb fittings (also drilled out) I got them tig'd into a Y piece

This now screws directly into the underside of the fuel sender plate to allow both 044's to be directly plumbed into the feed pipe to the main system maintaining a perfect 2 x 8mm to 1 x 10mm ready to drop back into the tank.

It is a grey yes. Not reventon.

All being well she's going to be assembled over the next fortnight. Going to start with fitting a second 044 before the interior goes back in, pictures to follow.

Pretty hard to see what color it is, could be green, grey or black metallic, but looks a little like LZ9UL...

    no orange peel there

Car's been flattened and polished now so another little teaser before all the panels go back on. This time there is a hint at the colour that's been chosen although very deceiving as it literaly reflects all of it's surroundings.
